R.K. Black, Inc., an Oklahoma City-based office technology company providing solutions to businesses throughout Oklahoma and Kansas, is seeking to fill a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to serve in the Oklahoma City metro area.

At RK Black, we’re looking for a detail-oriented teammate to oversee our AP processes using business management and workflow tools. You’ll have the opportunity to master established procedures while also being encouraged to enhance our processes. 📒 What You’ll Do:
- Own the AP Workflow
Lead the end-to-end accounts payable process using workflow tools, ensuring transactions are smooth, timely and accurate … every time. - Monitor AP operations to ensure alignment with GAAP and internal SOPs, maintaining audit-ready records and documentation.
- Oversee and support 80+ users on our corporate credit card platform, ensuring transactions are properly tracked and coded.
- Accurately post AP transactions with precision and accountability.
- Prepare and execute weekly check and ACH runs, processing 150+ payments with speed and accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while keeping vendor records up to date.
- Continuously seek oopportunities to improve and streamline AP processes, adopting new technologies and tools where needed.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Accounting or Business Degree preferred, Associate Degree or equivalent required
- 2 years’ hands on experience processing accounts payable for a $30 million company
- Working knowledge of standard accounting procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Windows Operating System
- Familiarity with financial software and AP automation tools is a plus
