Business Email Compromise Protection Waiver

Business Email Compromise Protection Waiver

Please reconsider.

Since the birth of AI tools, we’ve seen a massive increase in email hacking. The bad guys are using token tools that take over your email account regardless of you having a good password and multi-factor authentication.

And, all this is happening at AI machine speed.
Not a stand-alone human attacker.

You might think your email doesn’t need to be secure, but consider almost every service (including your bank) allows password resets to your email. If your or your associates’ email account is compromised, the bad guy can access that password reset.

We’ve been testing these tools for the last 6 weeks at no cost to you and are providing it moving forward AT COST.
Unfortunately, this tool does not replace other services.
You still need Spam Filtering, Phishing Filtering, Anti-Virus, SOC/SIEM, Backup, etc.

The Identity Threat Detection and Response service for Business Email Compromise is another tool for us to help keep you safe.

We feel VERY strongly you need this service.

If you still feel it’s an unnecessary service for your org, fill out the form below.

Waiver of Business Email Compromise Protection
The Client acknowledges that R.K. Black, Inc. has recommended the implementation of Business Email Compromise (BEC) protection services, including but not limited to advanced email threat filtering, impersonation and domain-spoofing detection, multi-factor authentication enforcement, mailbox auditing, and end-user security awareness training. The Client has elected to decline these services. The Client further acknowledges that Business Email Compromise is among the most financially damaging categories of cyber incident, routinely resulting in fraudulent wire transfers, payroll diversion, invoice fraud, and unauthorized access to sensitive business and customer data.

The Client understands and agrees that incident response, forensic investigation, mailbox and tenant remediation, credential resets, legal and regulatory notification support, and any related recovery efforts arising from a Business Email Compromise event fall outside the scope of the existing Managed Services Agreement and will be billed separately at R.K. Black’s then-current hourly or project rates. The Client acknowledges that remediation of a single BEC incident commonly costs several thousand dollars or more, exclusive of any funds lost to fraud, third-party legal or forensic vendor costs, regulatory penalties, or business interruption — none of which are recoverable from R.K. Black. By signing below, the Client accepts full responsibility for this risk and releases R.K. Black, Inc. from any liability, claim, or damages resulting from a Business Email Compromise event or related email-based fraud occurring during the period in which these protections are declined.
