Project Engineer / Network Engineer
R.K. Black, Inc., an Oklahoma City-based office technology company providing solutions to businesses throughout Oklahoma and Kansas, is seeking a full-time Help Desk Technician II to serve at our Oklahoma City location.
As our Project Engineer, you will work closely with our IT sales team to create infrastructure solutions that will WOW our clients! Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Management of Information Systems or equivalent military / industry experience
-
Four years industry experience or equivalent military experience
-
Minimum of CompTia A+ Certification OR ability to obtain A+ or Net+ certification within six months of hire; CCNA or similar experience a plus
-
Proficient in Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Desktop OS (up to the most recent version), Windows Server OS (up to the most recent version), Network connectivity, Wireless Connectivity, Network Security, and email management

Experience with and usage of various applications, including: Powershell, SSL Certificate, Security, both virtual and physical server environments, back-up solutions and data restoration, and phone system implementation and management
-
Experience with anti-virus solutions, vulnerability management tools, monitoring, and alerting solutions
-
Prior MSP experience preferred.

Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and clear driving record
The Job
-
Able to effectively manage projects and new equipment implementations (i.e., servers, desktops, routers, firewalls, switches, corporate level Wi-Fi systems, phone systems etc.).

Serve as a technical escalation point by providing an elevated Tier Support to resolve equipment or network issues in a timely manner.

Management of anti-virus solutions, vulnerability management tools, monitoring, and alerting solutions

Able to quickly learn and support Line of Business applications

Vendor management; represent clients on technical issues
-
Monitor clients’ network assessments through our remote tools (i.e., conditions of existing desktops, servers, routers, etc.).

Accurately account for time and resolve all tickets assigned in ConnectWise the day the work is completed.

Achieve and exceed established activity standards (service calls, response times, etc.)

Able to work on an on-call rotation.
