CCTV / Surveillance Technician
R.K. Black, Inc., an Oklahoma City-based office technology company providing solutions to businesses throughout Oklahoma and Kansas, is seeking a CCTV / Surveillance Technician to serve from our Oklahoma City location.

We are searching for a CCTV / Surveillance Technician for our CCTV team.The CCTV / Surveillance Technician is responsible for providing quality service to our clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. This position will routinely perform troubleshooting for client’s NVR and/or cameras both remotely and onsite at client locations. This position is responsible for handling proactive maintenance on client’s CCTV system to reduce system failures.
Requirements

Two-year electronics degree or equivalent military / industry experience

Working knowledge of Security Cameras, NVR’s, DVR’s, Switches Cabling and other related items

2 years recent experience in CCTV and customer service field required; 4+ years of recent experience in CCTV and customer service field preferred

Axis Certified Professional preferred

Oklahoma access control and CCTV licensing

Knowledge of basic computer skills and network applications

Possess a valid Oklahoma Driver's License, be at least 21 and have reliable transportation
The Job

Install and troubleshoot CCTV equipment at client locations; performs required maintenance on surveillance equipment and interfacing software

Perform multiple service calls daily onsite and remotely; communicating clearly with client the reason for the call, confirming tasks to complete, and thoroughly explains work performed prior to departure

Resolve equipment issues AND builds client rapport … the client experience you deliver defines our reputation!

Perform effective key-op training

Ensure that parts ordered are installed in a timely manner and equipment brought to the shop is returned within a timely manner

Achieve assigned performance standards (Calls Per Day, First Call Completion %, Parts Spending Budget, Inventory Control, etc.) on a consistent basis

Acquire the appropriate training certifications through self-paced, web-based or remote class methods

Work independently, using a variety of hand tools and testing equipment; Completes & maintains appropriate paperwork as required for the task at hand

Seek out and submits sales lead opportunities as part of each service call

Drive in a safe & courteous manner, obeys traffic signs & speed limits, avoids texting while driving

Responsible for company vehicle (appearance & servicing) and its contents

Complete other duties & responsibilities reasonably assigned by management

Qualities Required

Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings

Troubleshoot equipment failures and resolve the issue quickly and completely

Possess exceptional organizational skills

Possess Oklahoma Department of Labor License for CCTV and or Access, and a valid Driver’s License with clear driving record

Communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Physical Requirements

Able to stand, bend over, squat or sit for prolonged periods of time

Able to use hands to work with tools, handle and feel for objects and controls

Able to carry tool kit, and other accessories up and down stairs
